Draw batch oven is used for stress-relieving stainless steel shafts used in turbines after a welding process. It has a 5 x 7.5 x 5' basket and a maximum operating temperature of 1,400°F (760°C). The batch oven was designed with the capacity to heat 2,000 lb of steel from 500 to 1,300°F (260 to 704°C) within 6 hr when the oven is preheated. The powered load/unload table is rated at a capacity of 2,000 lb.
