A manufacturer of regenerative thermal oxidizers with more than 800 installations globally has been acquired.

Cincinnati-based CECO Environmental, a manufacturer of air pollution control systems, product recovery and filtration technology, acquired Adwest Technologies Inc., Anaheim, Calif., adding the company's Retox thermal oxidizers to its line of pollution control equipment.

The Adwest management team of Craig Bayer, Brian Cannon, Peter Krenitsky and Richard Whitford, will continue in their roles within CECO.
