TurboSonic Technologies Inc., Waterloo, Ontario, has received a $1.2 million order from a company in Australia for its SonicKleen™ wet electrostatic precipitator (WESP) to reduce particulate matter, volatile organic compounds and opacity emissions from a particle-board dryer exhaust. The equipment is scheduled for delivery in the first half of 2013.
This contract is a result of a new alliance between TurboSonic and Windsor Engineering Group Ltd., Wellington, New Zealand, which now represents TurboSonic in Australia and New Zealand.
