A seminar on steam system optimization, a one-day course planned for May 22, will be held at Spirax Sarco’s training facility in Longmont, Colo.
During the training session, participants can learn to effectively manage and validate their energy conservation measures within their steam energy system. The training event will cover boiler operation optimization as well as best practices for steam distribution, heat transfer, condensate recovery and optimization, and flowmeter use as it relates to energy conservation. Among the course presentations will be a screening of a video, “Inside the Boiler,” and an introduction to the DOE-EERE best practices steam program.
Spirax Sarco also will host a reception and welcome dinner on May 21. While attending the course, participants also will have the opportunity to view Spirax Sarco’s factory where its flowmeter products are manufactured.
