Reducing Valve Regulates High Upstream Pressure
Self-operating and direct-acting, the proportional regulator regulates a high upstream pressure to a smaller downstream pressure. The downstream pressure is regulated, which means the valve closes when the downstream pressure rises. Pillarless construction and diameter-independent spring ranges are features of Ari-Predu. 3-Phase, Solid-State Relay for Constant-Resistance Loads
Standard versions of Model 11EZ are supplied with integral heatsinks and easy access terminals. The three-phase, solid-state relays for constant-resistance loads require a maintained external 120 VAC control signal for operation. Fuse kits (fuses and fuse blocks) are shipped loose with the units for remote mounting. They do not mount directly to relays. Users can select these devices to replace mercury and solid-state relays and use them in extruding and molding machines, among others. They provide on/off control of constant-resistance electric heating elements.

Thermowells Protect Thermometers, Isolate Devices from Media
The company’s industrial 5 and 9" thermometers as well as HVAC bimetal, solar digital and hot water thermometers are supplied with a removable thermowell. Thermowells create sealed systems where temperature measurement can be safely performed. With the media contained, thermometer replacement or service can occur without draining or shutting down the system. Thermowells protect thermometers as they isolate them from media that may be harmful or corrosive. They also shield the sensitive sensing element from high pressures.
Digital Indicator Has Bright, Readable Display
Model AG500 has a 21 mm high LED readout with a high luminance, five-digit display in a 1/8 DIN case. Options for the microprocessor-based digital indicator include universal input types; six programmable alarms; analog retransmission; digital input; 12 or 24 VDC sensor power supply; and RS485 or Modbus-RTU communications. With digital communications, the indicator can be used in conjunction with a PC or PLC. With the analog retransmission output, it can be used with a chart recorder or data-acquisition system. In addition to the process high and low alarms, alarming standards include a latch function, an alarm time delay and hold action.
Infrared Thermometer Includes Precision Variable-Target Focusing
Marathon MM Series enables users to adjust the focus of measurement targets, either by push-button at the rear of the instrument, or remotely via an RS232/RS485 PC connection, where adjustments can be seen real-time through video. Users can select from either standard fixed-focus sensors or sensors with the variable-focus option, both with a focus range between 8" and 7'(200 mm and 2.2 m). Close-focus units also are available with fixed optics, enabling targets as small as 0.02" (0.5 mm) to be measured from a distance of 6" (150 mm). All of the infrared sensors provide integrated through-the-lens sighting, plus either laser or video-sighting for correct aiming and target location. The thermometer incorporates an optional live video feed into its data-acquisition and sensor programming software, allowing for active frame capture.
RTD Probes with Many Termination Styles
The company’s line of standard RTD probes uses a 100 Ωplatinum element with alpha equals 0.00385. Sheath material is 304 stainless steel and has a standard length of 5". RTDs are available with either a standard size plug or Teflon-insulated lead wire. When ordered with a plug, the plug has three prongs. Units with lead wire can be either two or three conductor, and a stainless steel overbraid can be for added durability.
AC Temperature Controller Includes Software, Data-Retrieval Capabilities
Model 5R1-1400 AC has integrated potentiometers or via a PC through the TTL level UART Communication port. This compact design measures 2.5" square, and the temperature controller can deliver up to 15 A of load current from a zero-voltage switched, low noise solid-state relay. Operator safety is achieved with 1 KV of AC line power isolation for the communication port and sensor input. Wall- or Desk-Mounted Graphical Humidity/Temperature Chart Recorder
Model RH520 can be either desk or wall mounted and provides simultaneous numerical and graphical displays of humidity (20 to 95 percent RH) and temperature (-20 to 140°F [-29 to 60°C]). It also calculates dewpoint. The multiple graphic displays are cursor controlled and have adjustable X/Y axis resolution that allows the user to monitor both temperature and humidity within a user specified range. The sample rate is adjustable from 0.1 sec to 200 min per sample, permitting daily, weekly or monthly graphs. Basic accuracy is 3.5 percent RH and 1.8°F (1°C).
Low Power, Digital Temperature Sensor
Model TSYS01 integrates a sensing chip and 24-bit ADC (analog-to-digital) converter into one component. Drawing less than 12.5 µA in a compact QFN16 surface mount package, the fully calibrated digital temperature sensor can be incorporated into variety of industrial control and heating/cooling systems. The 4 mm x 4 mm sensor has a wide operating temperature range, making it a replacement for thermistors and NTCs (negative temperature coefficients).

The Temperature Concentrator System accepts any combination of RTD, thermocouple, millivolt and resistance/potentiometer signal inputs. It converts the inputs to the Hart digital communications protocol and transmits the data from the field to the control room on a Hart digital data link over a twisted wire pair. All process, status and diagnostic information can then be accessed by a Hart-based control system. Designed for applications that require critical temperature measurement for small-diameter lines in sanitary processes, miniature sanitary RTDs cover the temperature range from -58 to 392°F (-50 to 200°C) with ±0.10 percent accuracy at 32°F (0°C). Time constant is 1.5 sec max for 63.2 percent response to step change of temperature in water moving at 3 ft/sec. Insulation resistance is 500 MΩat 100 VDC. Repeatability is less than ±0.01 percent change in ice point resistance after 10 consecutive cycles from -58 to 392°F.

HiTemp 150 measures and records temperatures between -40 and 302°F (-40 and 150°C). The submersible datalogger is suitable for autoclaves validation and is built to withstand harsh environments. Model EC-E protects load circuits connected to a 24 VDC power supply. The electronic circuit breakers combine active electronic current limiting for short-circuit conditions and overload shutdown, ensuring that the breakers respond to fault conditions faster than the power supply. Rated for both hazardous and nonhazardous environments, the circuit breakers have a current limitation of 1.3 to 1.8 times the rated current of the circuit protector.
