Reducing Valve Regulates High Upstream Pressure

Self-operating and direct-acting, the proportional regulator regulates a high upstream pressure to a smaller downstream pressure. The downstream pressure is regulated, which means the valve closes when the downstream pressure rises. Pillarless construction and diameter-independent spring ranges are features of Ari-Predu. Additional features include screwed and marginal seats; three exchangeable spring sizes; balancing and sealing bellows; and easy change of spring and actuator. It can be used with mediums such as steam, neutral gases, vapors and liquids.

Transmitting Multiple Temperature Sensor Measurements

The Temperature Concentrator System accepts any combination of RTD, thermocouple, millivolt and resistance/potentiometer signal inputs. It converts the inputs to the Hart digital communications protocol and transmits the data from the field to the control room on a Hart digital data link over a twisted wire pair. All process, status and diagnostic information can then be accessed by a Hart-based control system. The TCS reduces the cost of transmitting multiple temperature sensor measurements by concentrating up to 32 signals onto a single twisted wire pair.
