FSE Energy has opened a new 135,370 ft2 manufacturing facility in Dallas. The site, located on a major rail line at 4900 Singleton Blvd, will serve as the primary manufacturing facility for all package boilers, heat recovery steam generators (HRSGs), thermal heaters and major components within the solid-fuel business units.

The site is the second fabrication facility for FSE Energy. The first is located in Vacherie, La., near its Covington, La.-based headquarters.

“We at FSE Energy are excited about this company expansion into Texas and our resulting enhanced capabilities. This is a demonstration of both the FSE Energy commitment to adding jobs to the US economy and the impeccable quality of the equipment we offer.”

Enhanced capabilities at the site will include 100-ton lifting capacity, tube bending, tube swaging and tube membrane welding. Eventually, panel wall welding will be available through the site as well.

Rick Westergaard, vice president of construction at FSE Energy, will run day-to-day operations of the site, and hiring for this location will commence immediately. Open positions include a shop foreman, code welders, assemblers, fabricators and a QA/QC manager. For information on open positions or to apply for a job, send an email to dallasjobs@fseenergy.com.
