Tube-fin removal tool is designed to peel back 4" of fin in less than two minutes to permit the rapid inspection and X-ray of welds for quality control. The portable tool mounts rigidly in the tube inner diameter, has no reaction torque to the operator, bevels the tube end simultaneously, and does not require cutting oils. Millhog eliminates the need for chipping hammers, grinders, dirt and dust. Applications include heat recovery steam generator (HRSG) tubes and coal-fired power plants.
