Temperature Process Control (TPC) System automatically optimizes process temperatures and press speeds, improving productivity and quality at aluminum extrusion plants, says the manufacturer. Closed-loop-control software optimizes press operation, increasing both recovery rates and product consistency while reducing cycle times and scrap rates. The system continuously tunes the process, automatically adjusting billet temperature, profile temperature, die temperature (optional) and quench temperature (optional) to compensate for variations.
