Cleaver-Brooks has broken ground on a multi-million-dollar plant expansion at its facility in Lincoln, Neb. The plant engineers and manufactures industrial watertube boilers for large manufacturing and industrial facilities serving the utility, global oil sands, petrochemical and heavy process industries.
The plant expansion will accommodate two cranes to handle a combined capacity of up to 200 tons. The expansion will add approximately 41,000 ft2 to the facility, bringing the total to about 186,000 ft2. It is scheduled to be completed in late 2014.
“We are expanding the manufacturing capacity and making equipment and process upgrades in our Lincoln plant to meet current and future demand for our products,” says Welch Goggins, president and CEO of Cleaver-Brooks, Thomasville, Ga.
