A manufacturer of corrosion-resistant thermoplastic fluid flow solutions will move its corporate headquarters. Asahi/America Inc. will move fromalden, Mass., to Lawrence, Mass., in October 2014. The 200,000 ft2 facility will house all of Asahi/America’s current operations and provide room for the company’s development plans.
Valmet Corp., Espoo, Finland, will supply an OptiConcept M containerboard production line for Cheng Yang Paper Mill Co. Ltd. in Vietnam. The production line will produce high-quality containerboard grades out of 100 percent recycled raw materials. Machine startup is scheduled for 2015.
Dave Emerson of Yokogawa Corp. of America, Newnan, Ga., was selected by Control magazine to be inducted into its Process Automation Hall of Fame. Emerson is director of Yokogawa’s U.S. Development Center.

International technology group Andritz received an order from Klabin, an integrated pulp-and-paper company in Brazil, to supply major production equipment for Klabin’s new pulp mill in Ortigueira, Paraná, Brazil. Startup is scheduled for the first quarter of 2016. The scope of supply of the Andritz Pulp & Paper business area covers the woodyard, the complete fiberline (for softwood and hardwood), and the white liquor plant. The pulp mill will have an annual production capacity of 1.5 million tons.
