Ambrell sold four Ekoheat 45 kW/100 kHz induction heating systems to a fastener manufacturer. The client will use the induction heating systems to preheat blanks prior to forging to create fasteners. They are part of an automated system that includes temperature monitoring and datalogging.
According to the Scottsville, N.Y.-based induction heating equipment maker, the systems include its eVIEW induction heating software that allows users to monitor temperature and log data as well as monitor power and frequency. The systems also include optical pyrometers for temperature monitoring and remote pendant stations.
