Registration for the 2014 Hydraulic Institute (HI) technical meeting is now open. The meeting will take place June 25-27 at the Charlotte Marriott City Center in Charlotte, N.C. Members of the Hydraulic Institute, associate members, standards partners, utility and qualified prospective members are encouraged to register.
The technical meeting is a venue for interested members to volunteer their expertise and join technical committees that create ANSI/HI standards, technical guidelines, and reports for pumps and pumping systems. Nearly 30 committees will meet to advance HI's standards and guideline writing efforts. Meeting highlights also include a Department of Energy update, pump testing laboratory approval, pump labeling, pump efficiency prediction, seal selection and arrangement based on API 682, remote monitoring and a structured authoring training session.
