St. Louis-based Watlow plans to reconstruct its facility in Maryland Heights, Mo., into an advanced technology center. The project will add 30,000 ft² of new construction and renovate 56,000 ft². It is contingent on approval of certain state and local incentives. Construction of the new center is slated to begin in the fall of 2014.

Along with the team members who currently work at the Maryland Heights location, the center will house Watlow's research and development team, which is currently located in a separate facility in Fenton, Mo.
