Stainless steel bimetal thermometers that eliminate the use of mercury for measurement are available in dial diameters from 2 to 5" and in ranges from -80 to 1000ºF (-62 to 538ºC). Maxivision models provide a fixed rear or bottom stem; Everyangle models allow the stem angle to be adjusted. Hermetically sealed for simple wash-down or liquid-filled to counter high vibration, these thermometers come in standard stem lengths from 2.5 to 24".
