High R-value silicone foam blanket heater technology was designed for thermal applications requiring insulation to reduce heat loss. The high-R value insulation is also used to provide touch-safe protection in the work environment.

The foam insulation and heater are molded into a homogeneous assembly that may include temperature sensors, thermostat, thermofuses and other components. By molding the assembly, the heater assembly can be made to fit the contours of components and provide the maximum thermal transfer and temperature uniformity.
