Retox provides more than 99 percent VOC control with low-pressure-drop ceramic heat exchangers rated at 95 percent primary heat recovery. They provide fuel-free operation at 3 percent LEL and greater inlet VOC loadings. The dual-chamber regenerative thermal oxidizer offers flameless, NOX-free operation with the oxidizer burner only used for initial cold startups. Secondary hot air, chilling and hot oil heat recovery also are feasible for many applications.
