The compact Scalance W761-1 RJ45 access point and Scalance W721-1 RJ45 client module provide wireless machine networking from inside a cabinet. When paired with the company's Simatic ET 200SP distributed I/O, further space and costs savings are possible. Both offer an IP20 degree of protection and up to 150 Mbit/s transmission rates. With aluminum housings, the devices offer transmission rates up to 300 Mbit/s while maintaining a small footprint. The modules can be rail or wall mounted, or directly mounted flush to a CPU or distributed I/O.
