Thermal processing equipment maker adphos, Bruckmuehl, Germany, delivered an air-cooled adphosNIR coil coating dryer to a customer in Oman.

The coil dryer has compact construction and achieves coatings drying at low temperatures so strip cooling is not necessary. According to the company, it provides dynamic production without lag or startup and stop phases.

Before delivery to the customer, adphos performed a complete checkup and operation tests. This meant that only onsite positioning and electrical connection were necessary before the dryer was ready for production. Installation time was one day.
