A powder coating and curing processes seminar will provide attendees with hands-on experience with powder coating equipment. Hosted by CCAI at Georgia Power’s Customer Resource Center (CRC) in Atlanta, the one-and-a-half-day seminar is planned for February 24-25.

The agenda includes an introduction to powder coating processes, including cleaning and pretreatment, as well as an overview of powder coating materials, application equipment and booths, curing options, part movement, and advice for running an efficient system. Finishing industry professionals will provide the classroom training. Attendees will also spend time in Georgia Power’s CRC laboratory viewing demonstrations and participating in hands-on training.

Attendees will receive CCAI’s “Powder Coating for Industrial Finishing Applications” training manual and the “Infrared Process Heating Handbook for Industrial Applications,” which was published by the Infrared Equipment Division (IRED) the Industrial Heating Equipment Association.
