Series F flange immersion heaters from St. Louis-based Watlow are now certified to India’s Petroleum and Explosive Safety Organization’s (PESO) Petroleum Rules, 2002.

PESO regulates the manufacture, import, export, transport, possession, sale and use of explosives, petroleum products and compressed gases by setting safety standards. PESO’s Petroleum Rules 2002 covers the approval of refineries, petrochemical, oil and gas processing facilities, transport of petroleum by water, land and pipeline, flameproof and other safety equipment for use in areas with flammable gases, and the licensing of storage installations, tanks and trucks for transportation by road and air. The heaters also have IECEx and ATEX certifications.

Watlow’s flange heaters are designed for heating liquids and gases in tanks and pressure vessels.
