Alfa Laval, Lund, Sweden, won an order to supply two process lines for edible oil refining in China. The order is booked in the food technology and life science segment of the company and has a value of approximately $9 million. The order comprises engineering as well as equipment such as heat exchangers and separators to be used in different steps of the soybean and corn oil refinery process.

The company also won an order in Italy to supply equipment to a new petrochemical plant in Slovakia. The order, booked in the energy and process segment of the company, has a value of approximately $6.6 million. It includes gas boilers that will be installed in a process line in an ammonia production plant in Slovakia. The equipment will reuse heat in the ammonia production process, contributing to an energy efficient system.

Delivery for both of these orders is scheduled for 2016.
