A recently developed heat transfer fluid is suited for use up to 700°F (370°C), says Radco Industries, Batavia, Ill. The 700°F temperature use value was determined after testing performed under ASTM 6743, according to the company.
Marketed as Xceltherm SST, the methylethylated aromatic mixture is part of the company’s line of synthetic and petroleum-based heat transfer fluid products.
