Heatex added a stacking machine to its U.S. operations to optimize manufacturing of its best-selling plate heat exchanger sizes. The company’s air-to-air heat exchangers are used in heat recovery and HVAC applications.

The stacking machine will work both with Heatex Model H and Model H2 crossflow heat exchangers with plate sizes from 30 to 39" (750 1000 mm). Heatex plans to stock pre-pressed plates in the most popular plate distances to ensure capability to deliver all projects from 1500 to 100,000 Cfm from its facility in Natural Bridge Station, Va.

Lead times for complete heat exchangers assembled in Virginia and freight costs will be reduced, the company says.
