Powder Coating 2016 will focus on technical education for attendees. Planned for April 11-14 at the Georgia International Convention Center in College Park, Ga., the event — hosted by the Powder Coating Institute (PCI) — is expected to include presentations on trends in powder coating, process improvements, powder application optimization, automatic and batch operations, advancements in powder coatings for architectural finishes, preventive maintenance and troubleshooting, pretreatment trends, and managing powder coating system operating costs.
According to Trena Benson, PCI executive director, the conference “will bring the latest trends and developments in powder coating along with information for those who are both new to the industry and long-time powder coating professionals.”
The popular workshop “Powder Coating 101” starts the conference on April 11-12. It includes classroom and hands-on training demonstrations. The technical conference is held April 13-14, with general sessions each morning followed by concurrent technical sessions. A two-day tabletop exhibition, also held April 13-14, will include displays by powder coating manufacturers, powder coating application equipment, system houses and chemical suppliers.
