Extreme IRt/c has a custom-designed ultra-rugged housing that protects the sensor from extreme vibrations, shifts in pressure and other acute ambient changes. The self-powered sensor has a temperature sensing range of -50 to 1200°F (-45 to 650°C), is hermetically sealed in a stainless steel housing, and delivers accuracy of 1 percent to factory-calibration conditions. The drift-free sensor provides resolution of as much as 0.00018°C (Johnson Noise), instantaneously updates and has response time of 100 msec. A customized mechanical design includes a heatsinked body of the sensor.
