Model TFD blowers have TEK backward-curved airfoil impellers. The proprietary impellers are injection-molded in high strength plastics to produce a wheel that is stronger than steel yet half its weight. The centrifugal blowers are suited for electronic cabinet cooling, clean room modules and the semiconductor industry. Other features include a cast aluminum impeller hub with bushing, one- or three-phase TEFC motors and a compact design.
