A metal fabricator added a natural-gas-fired three-zone curing conveyor oven from Wisconsin Oven, East Troy, Wis. The oven will cure a solvent-based adhesive that will be printed on a continuous corrugated aluminum web.

Designed to handle corrugated aluminum web up to 24" wide by 0.125” high, the equipment has a maximum temperature of 300°F (149°C). Each of the three zones of heat control is nearly 9' long. The third zone can be used for cool down if the fabricator turns off the burner while maintaining airflow with the recirculation and exhaust blower.

The oven has a stainless steel flat flex belt for thermal efficiency. Its recirculation system is configured with top-down airflow to provide uniform heat distribution along the top of the aluminum web.
