Bryan Steam LLC, Peru, Ind., is celebrating its 100th year in business.
Founded in 1916 as the Bryan Harvester Co. by George Bryan, the company initially produced cars and steam-powered tractors. In 1922, the company refined and marketed the bent watertube boiler that had powered the steam-powered vehicles and became Bryan Steam LLC.
In 2016, the company manufactures gas, oil- and gas-fired boilers as well as electric, condensing, low NOX and knockdown boilers. The company’s flexible watertube design reportedly provides natural internal circulation for maximum heat transfer and operating efficiency.
To celebrate the milestone, Bryan Steam is planning an open house in August for its employees, North American representatives, vendors and local and state dignitaries.
