The Powder Coating Institute will host its 2017 Technical Conference on March 27-31 in Indianapolis. Three consecutive events — its Powder Coating 101 hands-on workshop, a two-day technical conference program and a custom coater forum — will round out the five-day schedule.

• March 27-28: Powder Coating 101 hands-on workshop covers the basics of powder coating operations and concludes with hands-on demonstrations at an area powder coating manufacturer’s facility.
• March 29-30: 2017 Technical Conference consists of general sessions each morning followed by concurrent technical sessions. The conference also will include tabletop displays by manufacturers serving the powder coating market.
• March 30-31: The custom-coaters forum provides training sessions and networking opportunities.

PCI is looking for abstracts that offer information to improve powder coating operations and provide ideas to enhance business practices.
