Xylem Applied Water System’s pump test laboratories have been approved through the Hydraulic Institute’s pump testing laboratory program. Two facilities — Xylem Seneca Falls Research and Development Lab in Seneca Falls, N.Y., and Xylem Morton Grove Research and Development Lab in Morton Grove, Ill. — earned approval through the program.

The Hydraulic Institute’s program helps pump OEMs and other pump testing laboratories improve their current laboratory procedures and policies by working with an experienced third-party auditor to develop and maintain accurate, uniform and repeatable pump testing protocols. It also helps participating organizations adhere to the requirements of the international test laboratory accreditation standard (ISO 17025) concerning test measurement equipment. HI’s latest program is designed to support the DOE's energy-saving initiatives.
