Materials-testing furnaces and ovens are used in laboratories and constructed using all stainless steel exteriors. They are designed to work with all material-testing systems such as tensile, creep, fatigue, compression or durability testing. They can be manufactured for new OEM systems or for retrofit to an existing system. Multiple testing rigs can be installed. One user’s facility is equipped with more than 80 dead-load test frames capable of performing steady-load testing from a few pounds up to 100 kips at temperatures ranging from ambient to 2200°F (1204°C). The facility also has electrohydraulic and electromechanical machines suitable for testing subcomponents under cyclic and other forms of variable loading.
