Developed to help optimize ways to use FRP composites in corrosion-resistant applications, the Ashland Corrosion Science Center (ACSC) in Dublin, Ohio, supports corrosion applications based on fiber reinforced polymers (FRP). The recently established center will allow industry partners, end-users, design engineers and fabricators to work with Ashland’s corrosion team.
The center’s focus is to define the efficacy of FRP in new corrosion applications and to support customers in existing FRP industries such as chemical processing, oil and gas, mineral processing, pulp and paper, and pollution control. ACSC experts solve complex customer problems through laboratory and field corrosion testing combined with real-world case studies.
