Natural gas or propane-fired industrial catalytic infrared heaters emit infrared heat through a safe, flameless heater technology that produces a uniform, low intensity heat. This heat is in the form of medium-to-long wavelength energy that is readily absorbed by a range of organic materials. Catalytic heater panels are used for industrial paint finishing, powder coating oven and drying industry. Using a propriety platinum-based catalyst, the products of combustion are water vapor and carbon dioxide. The absence of a flame while maintaining a heater surface temperature of 400 to 900°F (204 to 480°C) generates infrared across the heater surface.
