Model 1650 ultra-low NOX regenerative Cyclops burner reduces NOX emissions by nearly half, says its manufacturer, compared to regenerative burner technologies. Its refractory-baffle flame stabilization shields the burner internals from flame and furnace radiation and is a self-support structure. It provides High release rates with moderate main combustion air pressure. The 1130 regenerative BFG BlastoFlame burner has been developed specifically for use with 100 percent blast furnace gas (BFG). To combat low flame temperature and combustion efficiency using BFG, fuel is preheated using an integral regenerator.
