Radio Frequency Energy Used in Post-Baking Dryers
Bantam-Series Macrowave is designed for biscuit and cracker baking production lines up to 3.2' (1 m) wide bands, producing 3,000 pounds per hour or less. The radio-frequency heating system does not require external plant cooling or heavy electrical drops. The post-baking dryers can boost productivity and eliminate checking for wholesale producers of biscuits and crackers. The size of the series of dryers makes the technology available to smaller bakeries. The technology is capable of boosting throughput capacities by 30 percent while eliminating checking and over-coloring problems, according to the manufacturer.
