Lindberg/MPH shipped a three-zone tube furnace with a maximum temperature of 2192°F (1200°C) that will be utilized for technical research and development.

The furnace, which has an insulating vestibule at each end, is equipped with a full-length hinge and a positive latch to ease observation. The heated chamber is divided into three zones with independent thermocouples for control reference to allow adjustable profiling of end zones. In operation, the end-zone setpoints can be raised to compensate for heat losses and increase the length of the uniform temperature zone in the center of the furnace.
