Yet a single processing deviation can affect batch specifications, requiring an operator to overdry to compensate. This can mean reduced yield as well as compromised product. AeroPro Moisture Control gives operators access to full time, real-time monitoring with hardware, software and ongoing process expertise, combined with technical support, to ensure efficient dryer operations. Microwave sensor technology, coupled with algorithms, create a closed-loop system for automated dryer control. Discharged product passes through an analysis chute, where approximately 20 percent is diverted to a sensing chamber that slows the product flow for analysis. A high performance microwave sensor gathers moisture data and sends it directly to the drying data monitoring control panel. Automation then makes any necessary dryer adjustments to produce product consistent to the target moisture content.
