Infrared technology and combustion are the focus of two free online seminars offered by the Industrial Heating Equipment Association (IHEA).
“The Ins and Outs of Infrared Technology” will be held December 7, at 2 p.m. (ET). Learn about infrared technology and its wide-pread applications from experts representing IHEA’s Infrared Equipment Division (IRED). Speakers include Mike Chapman of Heraeus Noblelight America LLC; John Podach of Fostoria Process Equipment, a division of TPI Corp.; and Michael Stowe of Advanced Energy. Click here to register.
“Fundamentals of Combustion” will be held January 18 at 11 a.m. (ET). Those involved with the operation, design, selection or maintenance of fuel-fired industrial process furnaces and ovens will find the combustion technology course useful, says IHEA. The webinar will cover terminology, combustion chemistry, characteristics of different fuels and how they burn, proper fuel/air ratio, combustion limits, flame temperature, flame geometry and operational applications. Michael Cochran, a combustion systems engineer with Bloom Engineering Company, will present the information and answer questions. Click here to register.
