An executive-level summit -- intended to bring together upper management from manufacturing plants and industry suppliers for networking and information exchange -- will be held in July. The International Thermprocess Summit (ITPS) will include sessions on strategies for the future of thermal process and the finishing industries; economic updates from the Americas; technological advancements, trends and their impact on our industries; and globalization issues, including Great Britain's exit from the European Union (Brexit), NAFTA and cybersecurity.
The International Heating Equipment Association will host the event July 30-August 1 at the Intercontinental Hotel in Atlanta. It is joined by its co-host, the Chemical Coaters Association International, which will present an International Finishing and Coating Summit (IFCS) concurrently in the same venue. Joint general sessions will address advanced manufacturing technologies, international dynamics impacting business and strategic business insights.
This is the first time IFCS will be held in conjunction with ITPS. The organizations expect that co-locating the events will provide expanded opportunities for participants due to the synergies between the two industries. Breakout sessions during the IFCS will address topics specific to industrial finishing. In addition, a tabletop exhibition will supplement the program.
