The Powder Coating Institute finalized the technical program for Power Coating 2019, which will be held April 1-4 at the Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld in Orlando, Fla. The four-day event offers a combination of training, keynote presentations, roundtable discussion, expert panels and social activities.
A basic essentials workshop and the PCI’s custom coater forum start the event on April 1, with the technical conference and exhibition to follow on April 3-4. A tabletop display area will include displays from powder coating manufacturers, powder coating application equipment companies, systems houses, chemical suppliers and services providers.
Presentations include “Understanding Heat Transfer: What's the Right Technology for Me?” by Marty Sawyer of Trimac Industrial Systems LLC; “Restricting the Limitations of Traditional Thermal Systems for Finishing Processes” by Lee McWhorter of Heraeus Noblelight America LLC; and “Seeing Infrared Can Make You Green” by Josh Gilmore of Trimac Industrial Systems LLC.
Following the keynote presentations, attendees can choose from a range of concurrent breakout sessions as well as attend the tabletop exhibition.
