A provider of stamping oil cleaning services utilized a thermal deoiler to eliminate toxic wastewater and reduce water consumption. The unit has a built-in secondary heat recovery system that uses a shell and tube heat exchanger design to recycle the heat from the oxidizer back into the burner-less oven.

Supplied by Epcon Industrial Systems, the thermal deoiler reduced cost by more than 30 percent when compared to the old method of aqueous cleaning. It includes a cooling zone and multiple conveyors and platforms.
