Two Class A cabinet ovens with a maximum temperature rating of 180°F (82°C) have been shipped to the specialty filter industry. The Gruenberg industrial ovens are constructed from a structural-steel frame that supports the stainless-steel interior chamber lining and the exterior sheet metal. All interconnecting struts are non-continuous, which helps keep the exterior cool.

The front-load units utilize horizontal airflow, which maximizes heating rates and temperature uniformity of the product load, according to Gruenberg. A circulation blower, which is located in a conditioning plenum chamber on the top of each oven, directs air through diffuser panels on one side of the chamber and flows horizontally across the product. The air exits the work chamber on the opposite wall through the steam coil for reheating and recirculation.

According to Gruenberg, the ovens were designed to accommodate wet batch sizes of 344 to 606 lb (156 to 275 kg) of product containing 21 to 113 liters of IPA.
