An electrically heated top-flow conveyor oven will be used by a global manufacturer in the machinery industry to cure “CPIG” material on plastic housings for electronic components. Designed and supplied by Wisconsin Oven Corp., the oven has a maximum operating temperature of 392°F (200°C) and includes a continuous chain-style conveyor system.
The unit has sufficient capacity to heat 1,000 lb of steel and 600 lb of plastic per hour from 70 to 302°F (21 to 150°C). It has a total production rate of 300 parts per hour. Top-down airflow maximizes heating rates and temperature uniformity of the product.
