A rental program allows food, chemical, plastics and other processors to test a continuous processor in actual operating conditions prior to purchase. The continuous processors can be used to mix, compound, crystallize, encapsulate and chemically react liquid and dry materials, including in sanitary environments requiring USDA- and 3A-compliant designs.

The month-to-month lease option allows processors to validate — at their own site — how the equipment can improve the processes. The rental program also allows processors to document how upgrading from batch processing to continuous processing would impact their operations.

The rental program, offered by equipment manufacturer Readco Kurimoto, York, Pa., also enables processors purchasing new machines to begin continuous operations while their custom machines are being built. Two full-size continuous processors in 5’ and 2’ paddle diameters are available. They can process up to 2,000 lb of material per hour.
