The heat exchanger’s stainless steel shell and coil exchanger extend its useful life. As an insulated jacket helps lower energy costs by reducing radiant heat loss. The exchanger is designed for steady, low temperature hot water applications like wash down. Packages can be configured to meet heating and process duties ranging from 341,000 to 3.4 million BTUs/hr. Intended to help reduce plant energy costs, the heat exchange unit is configured to the user’s requirements and preassembled, tested and skid-mounted off-site. This minimizes setup time and costs at the processor’s location, says the manufacturer.
