Three equipment manufacturers formed an alliance to solve why they say are the three biggest challenges facing steam users today: capital funding, declining workforce expertise and subpar system efficiencies.
To address these challenges, Miura, Hartford Steam Boiler (HSB) and Armstrong International have developed a turnkey, fully financed means to deliver steam-as-a-service (SaaS) to the industry.
SaaS allows customers to focus on their core businesses while having an on-site partnership design, build, operate, maintain and continuously optimize steam generation. The equipment makers note this can help companies update aging steam infrastructure that is operating beyond its optimal lifespan or invest in technology and system design to future-proof new construction.
