ProFire SBR-30 is capable of less than 30 ppm NOX emissions without flue gas recirculation (FGR). Its firing head is designed to achieve controlled combustion, leading to low emissions with 3 percent O2. Eliminating the need for FGR in high stack-temperature steam boilers increases energy efficiency by 0.5 to 1.5 percent, extends the turndown and minimizes on-off cycling, according to the company. The burner provides silent operation with a combustion air fan wheel that uses less horsepower with less noise.
