WIN-911 launched WIN-911 2021, an update for its remote alarm notification software that the company says is easier to deploy and more efficient than previous versions.

The software update provides reduced installation and configuration time as well as simplified navigation compared to earlier versions. Users can organize alarm notifications based on alarm types, severity or worker roles, and they can create rolling schedules for staff using calendar-based controls.

In addition, a revamped alarm sources section allows all SCADA-specific alarm data to be seen in one console, where users subscribe and filter alarms as precisely or generically as needed. Reports enable operators to get a snapshot of specific tag-based values and data to troubleshoot an alarm event in real time.
