Piovan Group completed its acquisition of IPEG Inc., which owns Thermal Care, Conair, Pelletron and Republic Machine. A Delaware-based company, IPEG supplies industrial automation systems, engineered solutions and services for storage, conveying and processing of plastic and food. Thermal Care manufactures industrial water chillers and process cooling equipment such as engineered temperature controllers, portable chillers and central chillers, cooling towers and pump/reservoirs. Conair manufactures a range of dryers, process heaters and chillers.
With a workforce of more than 1,800 employees, 14 production facilities and 41 service and sales organizations, the combined group reinforces Piovan Group’s position in the plastic and food industrial automation sectors. The acquisition of IPEG makes North America the largest market of the Piovan Group.
IPEG has operations and subsidiaries in the United States, India, Mexico, Germany, China, Taiwan and Singapore. This includes four manufacturing facilities in the United States and one in India. Piovan Group develops and manufactures automation systems for the storage, conveying and processing of polymers, bio-resins, recycled plastic, food fluids, food and non-food powders.
