Thermal Product Solutions shipped a Gruenberg cabinet oven with an operating temperature of 200 to 550°F (93 to 288°C) to a company in the aerospace industry.

Using HEPA filters to maintain air cleanliness, the oven was manufactured silicon-free. It utilizes Viton door gaskets, non-silicone HEPA filter gaskets and media, caulking and gasket sheets instead of standard silicone material. The unit meets Aerospace Material Specification 2750 (AMS 2750) standards for pyrometry. In other words, it is in accordance with the specifications that are required for heat treating metallic materials.

“This NFPA 86, Class B cabinet oven complies with ISO class 7 air cleanliness and also meets AMS 2750 standards,” said Mike Schneck, Gruenberg product manager. “A stainless steel perforated shelf with telescopic slides is designed to support a 100-pound load. Internal and external thermocouple jack panels are used for temperature monitoring and calibration.”
